Indian Vintage Chakki with Velvet fabric Cushion

  • $59999

Vintage from the 60's Indian Hand carved grinder table repurposed as an ottoman Low table  with Velvet fabric Cushion filled with cotton & fiber.

Once a staple in most Punjab homes the chakki was used to grind grains into flower used to make Indian flat bread such as chappatis, naans, rotis and parohtas. The term Chakki is for the set of small millstones that were usually held in round wooden bases. Wooden bases that we have repurposed into tables and ottomans but still refer to as chakkis.

Wood Base: 27" x 27" x 14"H
